 Tombstone Treats

More Halloween Crafting coming your way.

This time I'm using the tombstone treat boxes from the Cutest Halloween Suite 156279 on page 50 in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog.  Of course I had to use the black and white gingham ribbon.  The cute ghost, pumpkin and cat are punched from the DSP using the punch. The three smaller ghost are die cut from vellum using the Festive and Bright die set.  I used the black sequin stars on them to cover up the mini adhesive dimensionals.  The Trick or Treat is from the stamp set.

Wouldn't these make great favors at a Halloween party? I filled mine with Nerd candies.

PEACEFUL DEER TAG

Today I would like to share a tag I made using the Peace Deer Bundle  156331 on page 26 of the July-December Mini Catalog.  It includes a stamp set and a punch. The coordinating  DSP can be found on page 8 of the Sale-a-bration catalog.  If you purchase $50.00 of products it's FREE.

This tag would be perfect for a masculine gift all year long and it was easy to make.

Crumb Cake card stock base desired size
DSP cut using stitched rectangle dies
punch stamped deer and antlers from stamp set with Memento ink
Cinnamon Cider Blends and Ink
Stamp sentiment and snowflakes with Cinnamon Cider ink on Crumb Cake strip
Evening Evergreen Ribbon

Put it all together and you've got a simply gorgeous gift tag. This would be easy to make in bulk.
I did the math and if you just purchase the products to make this tag you would have enough to met the $50.00 minimum to get the FREE DSP.
I'M just saying.

Envelope Punch Board and Pocket Letters

I'm sure everyone has seen the new craze, Pocket Letter Pals.  I wondered if I could make little envelopes to fit into the 2.5 x 3.5 pockets with the Envelope Punch Board and finally I got the measurements down.

Here is a picture of my embellished envelope.  As you can see it fits perfectly.

Here are the measurements.
Paper 5x5 square
Punch at 2 1/8

I made mine using Stampin Up products I got from Sale-A-Bration
Designers Series paper Best Day Ever and Accessory Pack button and ribbon.
The heart is punched using the Sweetheart Punch and I stamped it using Calypso Coral ink and the stamp set Little Sunshine.  I made the banner using the banner punch and Coastal Cabana card stock.

If you would like to recreate this or would like to purchase the Envelope Punch Board go to my website at kimogden.stampinup.net

Challenge #170 Fruit Salad at FCCB

Hi! Everyone.  Are you ready for another challenge at FCCB?  Our challenge this week is to make a project with any type of fruit.  Here is my card

The card base is A2 size from "Birthday Wishes" stack from DCWV. I really like this glossy paper and chevrons are in right now.  I cut the pear from Home Accents Cricut cartridge at 3.50". I used the shadow and layer cuts.  I had to piece the layers together after I cut the shapes in four different colors of paper. Brown for the seeds, cream for the fleshy part of the pear and two shades of green for the peel.  I used Euclyptus stickles for the glitter.  The twine is from the Twinery in Honeydew.  The flower and button are from my stash.  To make the sentiment I punched it using a EK success punch and gilded the edges with a gold paint pen.  The sentiment is a stamp from My Pink Stamper and I heat embossed it using Fantage gold from Stampendous.  I love the way it melted.

That's it for my project, now it's your turn.  Make something with a fruit Cricut cut and join the challenge.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog Challenge # 163

This week the challenge at FCCB is to make a project using two types of ribbon. I needed a birthday card and thought I would make it with two types of ribbon.

Also it was my first attempt at heat embossing.  I have seen it used by other crafters but had not invested in a heat gun and embossing powders, which by the way are a little pricey I discovered.  For someone who usually buys supplies on sale or discounted it was a big decision to purchase everything I  needed. I have to say I was very pleased with the results.  I do need a little more practice to perfect it though.

For my card I used Elegant Edges to cut the scalloped circle at 2.50 inches and the shadow.  The inner circle was cut smaller at 2.00 inches.  I threaded the blue gingham ribbon through the holes and tied a bow.  It is pop dotted onto the shadow. The border is a Martha Stewart border punch. The ribbon is more of the blue gingham and a piece of blue polka dot ribbon.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from a stamp set by TPC Studios. I used a fine silver embossing powder from Michael's and Versamark to stamp. It really was easy and the effect is very dramatic. If you haven't tried to heat embosse you might want to give it a try too.

Thanks for looking. Join the challenge at FCCB this week and have fun.
