My Creative Time Throwback Thursday

Hi everyone. Emma at MCT has challenged us to make a project using blue, green, orange and brown. Also use an older Cricut cartridge. I always have difficulty with color challenges. Today I think I nailed it. I found a plaid paper that had all the above mentioned colors.  The paper stack is DCWV Animal Crackers. I have had this paper stack for awhile and have never used it until now.

The base is cream card stock cut at A2 size.  The plaid paper is cut at a quarter inch smaller. The brown paper with glitter leaves is cut 2"x 4 1/4".  I used the Pink Stamper method to adhere the green ribbon to the back of the paper and tied a bow.

The Cricut cartridge I used was Create a Critter.  I cut the giraffe and hello phrase from page 48.  The giraffe was cut at 4" and the phrase at 1 1/2". The card stock I used is 8x8 assorted colors from Walmart called Paper Crafter. I used all the cuts to piece the giraffe. I stitched around the giraffe and hello with my white gel pen. For dimension I used pop dots.

Inside I used pumpkin spice Colorbox chalk to stamp my sentiment. I used MCT stamp set Happy Mail.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  I hope you liked the card.
Bye Bye for now,
Kim
