FCCB Challenge # 152 Luck of the Irish

So excited for my first Design Team post at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog or FCCB for short.  This week we are celebrating St. Patrick's Day.  The challenge is to create a St. Patrick's Day project.  My first thought was four leaf clovers and leprachans.  I searched my Cricut cartridges and found this guy on my Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge.

I think he turned out so cute.  He is 3" tall.  I cut all his clothes at this same size.  For his face I used my Peach Keen Everyday faces, stamps.  I did a lot of detail work with a gold glitter pen.  The scalloped oval is cut from Storybook at 4" and 4 1/2".  I love this cartridge for scalloped circles, squares and ovals.  The papers I used are Coordinations solid card stock in  green, red and brown.  The background paper and gingham is from a paper stack for All Seasons.
The embellishments I used are "Peapod" twine from the Twinery and a button from my stash.  For the sparkle around the oval and clovers I used Eucalyptus Stickles.

Here's my tip for this project. I use Paper Doll dress Up a lot, so when I load the cartridge in  my Cricut I usually cut several paper dolls in different sizes.  That way all I have to do is pick a costume to go with whatever occasion I am making a project for.  So I can  stamp the face I always use the blackout feature to cut the paper doll.

Now its's your turn.  Join us at FCCB. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with for this challenge.
Bye, Bye, for now
