Stampin' Up EASTER Gift Bag

Here;s an Easter project using the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Honeycomb Happiness.  I used the gift bag punch board to make this cute little bag that's just the right size for a few chocolate Easter egg candies.  The paper is Designers Series paper stack "It's My Party".
I added half of a dolie and white Baker's Twine.  The handles are made using Hello Honey trim from last years Occasions catalog.  For my sentiment I used the stamp Easter Lamb and masked off the lamb and just stamped the Happy Easter.

Time is running out Sale-A-Bration ends March, 31,2016. Place you order now and don't miss out on FREE stuff.

Also a reminder that in June the new catalog will be coming out and the 2014-2016 In Colors will be retiring.   These are the following colors
Blackberry Bliss
Hello Honey
Lost Lagoon
Mossy Meadow
Tangelo Twist

I really hate to see these colors retire but I am eagerly awaiting the introduction of the new colors for 2016-2018.

Hope you have fun crafting for Easter.

Easter Challenge # 207 At FCCB

HAPPY EASTER

Hope everyone had a good Easter weekend. The challenge at FCCB this week is Easter. I made a shadow box and used Cricut Sampler cartridge to cut my bunny.

The shadow box was originaly brown. I covered it with a layer of Gesso then painted it using Antique White. I covered the back with paper from DCVW "Little Miss". I have been using this paper stack  for a lot of projects, it's not just for baby girl stuff.  I cut the bunny using some of this paper at 3". I used a pink pearl for the eye.
As you can see I added lots of different Easter related items to my shadow box. The eggs and bunnies are from a flea market find. I bought a ziplock bag filled with Easter figures and eggs for $2.00 last year and finally found a use for them. Even the gold frame is from the flea market. It was a pen but I removed the pen from the back and inserted a picture from Gecko Galz. The Happy Easter letters are Thickers. I used bits and pieces of ribbon and lace as well as embellishments and flowers.  It was a good way to use leftovers from other projects.

I have a few more pictures to show some of the little details.

Hope you enjoyed my shadow box.

Challenge #154 Easter at FCCB

This weeks challenge  at FCCB is to create an Easter project.  I have been making Easter cards and saved my favorite for this challenge.  My Mom loves roses and this card was made for her.  I think it's beautiful.  I used my Wild Card cartridge to cut the frame with my Cricut.

For the card base and frame I painted it with Martha Stewarts Pearlized Antique Silk paint. I then used a paper from DCWV "Butterfly Garden" stack and punched the edge with my Martha Stewart scalloped edge punch. The ribbon is dyed seam binding using Rit green and Key Lime Glimmer Mist. The pearl spray I found at a flea market for 50 cents. The pink pearls at each corner of the frame are from Recollections.  This image is another one from Gecko Galz, "Hops and Peeps".

I hope my Kreation has inspired you to join us for this weeks Easter challenge.
