Challenge #197 at FCCB is I HEART YOU

Today our challenge at FCCB is to create a project with a heart.  Since it is almost Valentine's Day I am sure everyone will already have a project in mind. The cartridge I used for my heart cut is Spring Fever Holiday.

This is the first time I have used the cartridge.  The heart was actually a lock and key. I cut the lock at 4.5" and then removed the top.  There is a keyhole cut in the middle but I covered it with the doilie that I inked with a scrpit stamp using Vintage photo.  The paper I used is a 6 x 6 pad by Glitz, Hello Friend. I distressed the edges and inked them with Vintage photo.  The image and sentiment are from a collage sheet from Gecko Galzs.  A recollections rose and a stick pin I made, all tied with dyed seambinding and my card is done.

CELEBRATE!

It's finally here, my first year Blogiversary.  Let's celebrate it together. As I promised there is "blog candy" involved.

My very first blog post was a challenge on My Pink Stamper.  I made a valentines card. 

 Boy have I learned alot about blogging in the last year.  Also I think my crafting has evolved.  I have tried new techniques and made projects I never thought about making.  I'm looking forward to another year.  I'm just getting started.
